A small minority of the players of the Mass Effect series have voiced their disgust for the lack of “choice” when it comes to the ending of the third and final installment of the series. The writers of Bioware have put in extremely long hours trying to give the series a complete ending that stays loyal to the soul of the franchise.
Now after numerous negative comments voiced on the internet and other mediums, Bioware has succumbed to the ruthless bashing. They have agreed to release multiple new endings as DLC. Is this just an excuse to make more money from the game?Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We may actually have somewhat of a choice now to end the game!! A small minority dislikes the endings? More like just about every ME fan I talk to. ME3 is a beautiful creation, but that set of endings was utterly depressing, and not just due to the tone of the decision. It’s the fact that I feel like we didn’t really have a say when it came down to it, we were merely given the illusion of choice and stuck with one of several WTF endings. It made me mad that I spent that much time gathering War Assets and solving the galactic hardships and misgivings, to be stuck at the end with a fork in the road…Each of the 3 paths laid before me consist of ” Fuck you” , “Fuck you again” , and “Fuck you a 3rd time!” I love Mass Effect as a genre, a series, and hopefully these new endings make ME3 the total package it can be!!!
But don’t you think that if they release new endings, that a lot of people will feel like the ending that they experienced would fall flat? It wouldn’t mean as much. Obviously this is my opinion, and I see where you’re coming from, but I just feel like this will cheapen everything.
The magic of DLC is it is optional…We don’t have to have the same endings, just like we all have our own Shepards. They are simply allowing us to further customize our experience but letting the game stay intact for those who choose so. It’s a win-win!

ME3 Ending
I had a final assault rating of almost 7000 because my first playthrough I forgot to go to Grissom Academy, I didnt realize Jack was there.
But I digress, my point is I had 3 possible endings so far, and all three were severely unsatisfactory. I don’t know if it was the anticipation for months that made it into something it couldn’t possibly be, or if it was the worst set of endings to the most amazing game ever put on this earth. The contrast of the terribleness of the endings and the pure amazingness that was the rest of the game was readily apparent to me, but I suppose my expectations were unsatisfiable.
Regardless, I love ME3 anyway, and the multiplayer turned out far better than I had feared.

Dear Life,
Could you possibly just stop happening for a week or so? I really need more time stomping Reaper ass and 24 hours in a day just doesn’t seem to be cutting it.
-
Stasis = Most OP skill ever
Fuck Team Vanguard AND Team Infiltrator.
Go Team Asari Adept!!!
-
T-16 Hours
Until Shepard proceeds to annihilate some Reaper ass.
Suck it long, and suck it hard Harbinger >.<

SOON.
I just finished my “perfect” playthrough of ME2 to prepare myself and my canon male Sheploo for The Arrival. ^.^ Now I am getting all my ME3 demo multiplayer characters to 20 because I am a loser and have no desire to do anything else.
